about the keyboard the make thing easer while learning to use these shortcuts.

General Commands
Here are some
very simple, but very powerful keyboard commands which can be used just about
any where in windows:
CTRL COMMANDS
 |
CTRL + A
This allows
you to select all of the item on you desktop or in a folder. |
 |
CTRL + C
This allows
you to copy one or more selected items to the windows clipboard. |
 |
CTRL + V
When you
copy items to the clipboard you will use this command to move or copy
them to where you want them. |
 |
CTRL + X
This is
similar to the copy command except that it does not create a new item,
it actually moves the item (use it
carefully). |
 |
CTRL + Z
This can be
your best friend and you worst nightmare, it allows you to undo your
last and in some programs use it to undo more than one item. However on
programs that DO NOT allow you to undo more than one item,
if you do accidentally make a change and don't realize it you might have
to start over. ( Just use it carefully ) |
 |
CTRL + ESC
This open
the windows start menu and in most cases also closes it. |
ALT COMMANDS
 |
ALT + SPACE
This opens the "system menu" which allows you to change the size
of the window, move it maximize, minimize, and even close the window. |
 |
ALT + ESC
This allows you to cycle around though all of the windows that
you currently have open, in the order they where opened. |
 |
ALT + ENTER
This allows you to display one or more items properties window
which is used to change various information about the item(s) that you
selected. |
 |
ALT + TAB
This allows you to switch between open windows. |
THE MIGHTY SHIFT
The SHIFT key is use as a shortcut key
as well as being a modifier key. For example using
ALT + TAB moves to the next open window however using SHIFT + ALT + TAB
will move to the window before the current window. much is the same for most
of the commands and the Shift key.
Three Finger Salutes (or more)
These Command require you to use in
some cases all three (CTRL + ALT + SHIFT) This can become very hard to
keep track of your keyboard shortcuts. My suggestion would be to right down the
long commands for quick reference.
 |
CTRL + ALT +
DEL ( The Big red button of Widows
)
One of the most used set of key on the keyboard this set allow
you to either open the Task Manager, or the Windows Security window
which let you change your password and do many other thing. |
 |
CTRL + SHIFT
+ ESC
This opens the task manager which allow you to kill application that
like to died and even check the many status tabs of your system. |
